ENTERTAINMENT

Matt Hollywood, entertainer magician and winner of the International Merlin Awards will open the conference because every culture loves and understands magic - and magic and laughter is the universal cross-cultural communication language. Matt is one of Australia's most recognized comedy magicians with his hilarious magic.

Garry Sweet CEO of ANSIC

Garry Sweet, a former highly decorated Detective with the Queensland Police is now the CEO of ANSIC, an investigative company that is consulted by governments for missions in Afghanistan. His clients are private civilian contractors, Embassies, United States military, the United Kingdom military and the Australian military. Mr. Sweet is the liaison for the Afghanistan National Army, Police, the National Director of Security and the Ministry of the Interior. His portfolio includes armed mobile security guard force for fuel and critical mission supply convoys as well as Personal Security Detail (PSD) for the safe transit of clients and assets through the most hazardous and difficult operating conditions in the world. Professor Fransesco Sofo

Professor Sofo from the University of Canberra is an international researcher/academic on cross-cultural communication and leadership development in countries such as the United Kingdom, United States of America, Switzerland, China, Italy, Spain and Slovenia. He regularly spends time overseas researching how cross-cultural communication skills are developed and used in the global arena. Professor Sofo is not only an entertaining and inspiring speaker, but is also an accomplished musician who writes operas. You will have the opportunity to ask Professor Sofo questions about cross-cultural communication in an educational environment and about how different cultures develop leadership qualities.

Dr Fiona Hill

Dr Hill, Anthropologist, Cultural Impact Coach and CEO of Almanar Consultancy is a world authority on women in the Arab World. Dr Hill's anthropological research was amongst the Bedouin communities along the banks of the Euphrates River in North-West Syria where she lived for extended periods annually for over 30 years. This talk will give you a fascinating insight into a unique Middle Eastern culture from the perspective of an Anglo Australian woman who lived with the community and shared their dreams and aspirations. You will have the opportunity to ask in-depth questions about a culture that most people only read about. Dr Hill is the Victorian State Chair & Board Member of the Australia-Arab Chamber of Commerce & Industry (AACCI) and she regularly takes interested parties on Middle Eastern tours with a difference. You will have the opportunity to talk with Dr. Hill and perhaps you would like to participate on one of her Middle Eastern tours with a difference.
